S1E4: Beyond the Rainbow, What it Means to be Out and Proud

This very special episode begins by welcoming back Christina Baker, owner of the Co-Lab Studio, who joins me with La’Darius Belcher, a cherished staple within our local LGBTQ+ community. Together, the three of us discuss our own coming-out stories, pride, the meaning of being queer, and the mental health journey we all face when dealing with LGBTQ+ issues. Our conversation takes us to topics within the community including how we felt challenged in our faith, love, loss, encouragement for our fellow closeted community members (particularly youth), honoring our gay forefathers and mothers who made our lifestyles possible, and special homage to the art of performing as a drag queen.

Buckle up listeners, gay or not, this is an episode you won’t want to miss!
